Frayhua Reviews: Rise of the Robots

Rise Of The Robots Review

Story- The story revolves around a cyborg fighting machines for freedom.

Presentation

Graphics- Rise Of The Robots look fantastic for and old 16-bit game in 1994.

Sound- The sound is great and Brian Mays, the former guitarist of the band, Queens would compose the music.

Gameplay

This is your standard 2D fighter, but with a few major problems:

1.) No interesting characters because this is another Street Fighter 2 clone that had a lot of hype.

2.) No balance because you can guard, but you take full damage and the enemies are overpowered.

3.) Not fun and doesn’t have any depth because Rise Of The Robots is a very, very, very shallow unbalanced fighting game with no special attacks or combos. Multi-player is very pointless because it carries all the problems from the single player and Player 1 can’t be anyone else, but Player 2 can be any cheap overpowered enemy.

Overview

+ Great Presentation
- Boring Unbalanced Gameplay
